Counseling/Therapy for Compulsive or Emotional Eating

Do you struggle with...
  • Overeating
  • Chronic Dieting
  • Binge Eating
  • Emotional Eating
  • Bulimia
  • Food Addiction
I know what it is to believe that your worth is determined by your waist size or the number on the scale. I know the pain of self-judgment, feeling not good enough, not thin enough. I know what it is to stand in the kitchen, facing the bottom of the ice-cream container, feeling terrible and wondering, why did I just do that?

I have struggled with food and weight issues. I've also found peace, comfort and self acceptance through the process of looking inward, asking what I'm really hungry for, and learning to feed my hungers, both physical and emotional, in ways that are healthy, caring and self-attuned.

If you've had an inking (or full-blown realization) that your food and weight issues are about more than food or weight, therapy might give you the answers you've wanted. You may find that it is possible to find peace with food and peace with your body.
